Very nice neighbourhood, close to metro and tram services. The apartment is well equiped and in excellent conditions.
This flat is so much more attractive than the photos appear. Spacious, with two good double beds and a good sized lounge. Spotlessly clean. It is in a basement but plenty of windows give natural light. The area is particularly nice with cafes and bars in every direction. It was perfect for our weekend.
<It is quite far from the city center, but no big problem because of good tram.
Very clean and conveniet and no problem except the bed cover and towel.
This apartment can accomodate up to 10 person, considering the beds, but the sheets and towels are only for 3 person.
It will be better if more sheets and towels are provied.
Location is great, tram which can take you to the town centre is just NeXT to the house. We had two smaller children travelling with us, so we really appreciated several playgrounds in the area, including the one just in front of the house, as well as lego in the appartment.
The flat was great and including everyting one needs. We were 7 adults and two kids, and we had all the Space we needed.
Monika is a nice host, always answering mails and questions, no problems at all.
Dear Monica it was a nice in your appartment in Berlin, well furnished and very nice located. Thank you for our stay.
The apartment is comfortable and it is situated in a beautiful place. Monika has been very kind and fast to find solutions to our little problems. Public transports are very close and you can reach the city center in 10 minutes.
We spent three nights in this apartament and we really liked it.
It was cozy, pretty and very functional.
I suggest it!
Very good apartment and centrally located. Very close to tram in Marienburgerstr. and easy transportation to both Tegel and Schonefeld airport via S Bahn to Prenzlauer Alle.
very quite and good standard. Our host was easy to reach and atentive.
The apartment was really nice, good bed and everything was new/clean.
It is centered in one of Berlin's best areas, when it comes to cozy cafes and good restaurants.
We arrived a bit later than we expected, but the hostess was really sweet and flexible.
Overall a really good experience. I would definitely want to stay here again, the next time I'm in Berlin!
The apartment is spacious and bright, basically furnished but quite comfortable. There are 2 double sofas in the living room which could allow 6 to stay. However I think that any more than four would be uncomfortable. The kitchen is kitted with the usual, fridge, cooker, microwave ,kettle and toaster. This leaves no worktop to prepare meals if that is a priority.
I had no problem with the flat but it is in an old tenement and the entrance hall is not at all attractive. In keeping with the rest of the area it is covered in graffiti outside, inside it is shabby as are the first two floors. The upper floors have been renovated and the apartment is on the top floor. It is quite a climb. The bar opposite was still operating at full blast at 2.30 am on one of the week nights when I was there, the noise is quite noticeable which may be a plus or minus depending on how much of a party person you are.
Rigaer Str. is an interesting area. It might come as a culture shock to a lot of people. In the part of the street the apartment is in, other dwellings range from new upmarket flats to at least one anarchist squat. It is certainly an area where competing lifestyles co-exist.I think it would be fair to describe it as edgy.
It takes 30 -40 minutes to the main tourist areas in Berlin, but the transport system is excellent. Buying a daily travel pass ( 6 - 7 Euros is a good investment). I ate at 3 local restaurants, They were cheap and not very good.Good bakeries, supermarkets etc nearby and some quirky shops.Overall an apartment for younger people.
