BEST WESTON - East Village in Manhattan
Floor No.1(with elevator)

Also, please check the 'Calendar' tab before you inquire about dates. I do keep the Calendar up to date daily (M-F).
This newly renovated apt in the East Village would be perfect for a couple, 2 couples or small group of family and friends who want to experience living in a fantastic apartment in NYC while saving a few bucks from pricey NYC hotels that are located in the heart of the tourist frenzy areas in midtown. It's very clean and has things no hotel can offer.
This posting is for use of an entire private 1 bedroom apartment with a full bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining area and an outdoor patio! This awesome apartment building has a killer roof deck with panoramic views of all of NYC and bridges. The building is manned with a 24 HOUR Doorman / Security, free gym and laundry room in the basement (coin operated).
The patio off the kitchen is just perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning with some sun which faces the beautiful courtyard with little to no street noise.
If you're the physical type, there is a gym (free) for your use in the basement of the building as well as a laundry room (coin operated), vending machines and ATM as well.
The unit has a fully stocked kitchen: full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, gas stove/oven, microwave, top of the line stainless cookware, utensils, dishware, glassware and a full private bathroom with bath tub.
The Building and Neighborhood: This building complex has 125 units, most are 2 bedroom units, but this is a special 3 BR Duplex with 3 outdoor patios! I have divided into 2 private apartments (this 1 BR listing and the other 2 BR listing). The neighborhood is very lively after the sun goes down. The East Village has been heavily built up over the last 5 years and located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Manhattan. The East Village offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and a beautiful park. You can walk to Indian, Russian, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vegetarian and American restaurants within a 5 block radius. If you're too tired and beat up from touring NYC and don't feel like going anywhere, you can simply order in and have anything delivered to the room (usually until 11 pm or midnight). And these little privately owned restaurants are MUCH better than midtown/tourist-trap food chain places. There are at least three 24/hr places to eat within 1 block. This building is one of only a few in the neighborhood that has a doorman and an elevator. About 95% of the buildings in the area are walk-ups. Your "home away from home" will provide the NYC experience not soon forgotten: the spectacular panoramic view of NYC on the roof deck (elevator and outdoor furniture up there), outdoor patio accessible from kitchen door, a huge courtyard in middle of complex, about 50 restaurant/bars/cafe's within a 3 block radius and probably 500 within a 10 block radius. Enjoy a beautiful park (Tompkins Square) at the end of the block and an East River waterfront park about 4 streets/blocks to the east.
For additional fees, I can recommend personal tour guides specific to various parts of NYC and to all the tourist attractions, as well as recommend cool, not-in-the-guide-books places for nightlife or dinner.

We had an excellent stay at Bruce's place. The room is very spacious and has plenty of room, the bed is very comfy and breakfast is included. It a 10 minute walk away from the subway; the neighbourhood seems to be safe around the clock, so no worries there. There are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby, so you won't be bored. The appartement features a nice rooftop view over Manhattan - buildings like the Empire state, the Crysler and the new Freedom tower are nicely visible.
Best of all, we really liked Bruce himself. He has loads to tell and tips about what to do (and what not) in NYC. He's really relaxed and down to earth. As we didn't know wether we'd get out of the city or not (due to an upcoming storm, which grounded a few hundred planes) Bruce offered us to stay for another night (without charge); as far I am concerned, he was the perfect host.
Highly advised :)
Very kind and helpful people. Perfect place if you enjoy the laid back atmosphere of East Village. I’d like to come back! Thank you Bruce.
Bruce is very kind and his room is really convenient and quiet
That is a great advantage in NYC and the neighborood is really nice
Thanks a lot Bruce
Bruce was a very accommodating host and welcomed us warmly to New York! Lots of info was provided via e-mail before arriving so that was great.
The room itself was clean and spacious, and East Village is a fantastic location to spend some time and feel like a local in NYC.
If you were hoping to do lots of cooking (we weren't, we were more than happy to eat around New York :D) then the kitchen doesn't offer the best facilities and is quite small, it sits in the small hallway room between the bathroom, your room and Bruce's room.
If you're happy to eat out and want to be in a great local area of New York out of the super tourist area then I definitely recommend Bruce's place!
My boyfriend and I stayed one night at this place. Bruce is a very nice and welcoming person. The room looks exactly like on the picture. However, we didn't spent much time in the room besides sleeping. The place is a little bit far from the subway but the area is actually nice and offers a lot of restaurants and bars.
Thank you to Bruce for this stay. apartment corresponds exactly to the description it is very well located (close trade and transport). Bruce is really someone open and pleasant.
We had a very good stay.
We recommend no problem staying with Bruce.
We had a great time, everything was as expected. Nice apartment, very clean, great neighborhood. Wonderful view from the rooftop terrace which is easily accessible by elevator. Bruce is a great host, very helpful, gave us a lot of useful hints for our stay. Thank you very much!
We highly recommend Bruce! The apartment is fantastic & clean and Bruce is a very funny, friendly and helpful person. We got a lot of useful tips from him, that made our stay in New York City much better!
The view from the roof top over Manhattan is incredible... You have to see that!
We had a fabulous stay! Great location, great rooftop view, great place, good space in the apartment and with outdoor patio and also a wonderful host.
Couldn’t have asked for more. And even breakfast included, which made a great start on the day! Would definitely recommend!
Our stay in NYC was great. Before arriving at Bruce's place, he shared useful information with us: how to get there by subway, taxi, whatever. The room was big enough for two and had all it needed: hairdryer, towels, clean sheets, tv, you name it... His appartment is located in a great area. Subway is a 15-minute walk and then you can go wherever you want within less than 30 minutes. The non-touristic (but safe) area is very nice: restaurants, bars, park in front of the appartment.... No need to hesitate to make a booking at Bruce's!
